AJIAL Foundation for the protection and the promotion of Human Rights
AJIAL (Generations), Foundation for the Protection and the Promotion of Human Rights, is a Moroccan association created in June 2014, in order to contribute to the dynamism of the civil society by, in particular, the financing of associations and activities of capacity building of non-governmental organizations and networking with the international community of human rights actors.
Mandated by the CNDH (National Council of Human Rights), AJIAL actively contributed to the organization and financial management of the second edition of the World Forum on Human Rights (FMDH), which took place from 27 to 30 November, 2014 in Marrakech, in the presence of nearly 10,000 participants
AJIAL has also actively supported the participation of civil society in COP 22, which took place in Marrakesh from 7 to 18 July 2016. To date, AJIAL has concluded more than 30 partnership agreements with Moroccan associations, for support grants covering different topics related to the protection and promotion of human rights, gender equality, youth and children.
Adept for controlled growth, having mobilized so far national funds, with a small team of permanent, AJIAL has set up a Executive office composed of eminent personalities (university president, former minister, defenders of human rights).
